ABOUT ME

I live my life like it’s a big adventure—because it is.

Dillan DiGiovanni has changed more in a couple of decades than most people do in a lifetime.

Hi. I’m Dillan.

I am a certified integrative health coach and educator. My work is my lifestyle and my purpose—I love what I do every day of my life (I didn’t always feel this way).

I love coaching people of all identities because I know what it’s like to:

  • change my career path multiple times

  • be raised Catholic and become Buddhist

  • go back to graduate school in my mid-30s

  • go from orthorexic vegan to robust omnivore

  • build my own business by myself for 15 years

  • overcome lifetime poverty to be financially secure

  • transform chronic illness to be physically thriving

  • surrender cisgender privilege and live as transgender

  • navigate body dysmorphia as both underweight and overweight

  • manage depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation without medication

  • move through the world as female, male-perceived & trans-identified

  • accept the alienation of my family of origin (immediate and extended)

And, just like everyone else, I’ve experienced heartbreak multiple times, moved my geographical home (26 times and counting!) and so many other normal life things.

I’ve really done and seen it all. REALLY. ALL OF IT.

I have undergone all the major life transformations—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and have overcome the greatest fear most people have—being rejected for being our true selves.

My life and my work inspires people of ALL identities, which is a tremendous thing to achieve. While my health, career, transition, spirituality and relationship experiences are unique to me, they are also universal and help people of all identities feel seen and heard in their struggles.

Someone once told me that I have the power to help bridge the gap in collective human misunderstanding and that was very kind.

From my formal training and lived experiences, I know all the challenges that exist in the modern human experience that plague our society: issues around identity, belonging, purpose, wellness, self-acceptance and compassion for others.

My BS and MEd degrees make me a critical thinker and my certification as an integrative health coach helps me be a better listener. I attended The College of New Jersey, Lesley University and The Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

I’m an 80s latchkey kid, a Gemini, left-handed, trans*, a recovering perfectionist, an omnivore and I love coffee and chocolate chip cookies. I was born and raised in New Jersey, lived in New England for 11 years, NJ again for a while and now I live in Philly.

I hope to inspire you on your own path toward health and success. ;)
